True Blood Season 2 Episode 2 – What’s Going on…

Episode 2 of the second season of “True Blood” just shows how hot this season will be, seeing as this, the second episode is even better than the first, and we just get pulled in by the characters and their stories.

Is there’s blood in my hair? Ohh, Pam is going to kill me!

That’s what vampire Eric says right after he finishes tearing apart the redneck in his basement. So vain! He finishes the redneck and throws one of his severed arms at Lafayette who was surprisingly still alive (I hope nothing messes with his spirit – he’s gone through a lot after seeing a man torn to pieces in the basement).

At least we learn why Eric has Lafayette in that basement – he just wanted to find out what happened to his friend Godric (he’s lost, poor thing). After a round of hard questioning he sends Lafayette back to the basement where he does something really gross and ends up learning a little anatomy.

Since Eric was taken away from his beauty section with Pam and he got his hair messed up we get the whole Eric with short hair explanation. Because Pam was just really mad she just had to cut all his hair off. After his haircut he asks “it’s the new me – you like?”  All I have to say is – we love! Eric’s new haircut is hot! Especially after the mess of hair he had in season one.

Ohh, and I love the whole secret language between Pam and Eric; I think it’s Swedish kudos to them – they have all these little secrets between them.

Make-up sex; isn’t it great?! Tell that to Bill and Sookie who have their first make-up sex in their relationship. I guess arguing and fighting is good for any relationship – the sex life anyhow.

As you probably know from last week’s spoilers, Jessica cries fake tears of blood convincing Sookie (Sookie is such a softie) to drive her to her parents’ house with the pretense she was only going to watch them. That was not going to happen;  as we expected Jessica wanted to teach her dad a lesson and Sookie thought Bill was never going to find out ( yeah right! She was asking for trouble).

Isn’t Bill the greatest dad ever? He was buying some clothes for Jessica when he got distracted by Eric and his new haircut (the haircut was that good) asking permission to take Sookie away on a job. We all know he was still going to take Sookie away even if Bill said no.

After that we guess Bill found Sookie and Jessica and got himself invited into Jessica’s old house.  After treating Sookie with a real bad attitude (she did bad but dude, you have to chill) he storms her out of the house. And surprise, surprise if we don’t find out he’s killed all of Jessica’s family. Guess we have to watch next weeks episode…

Silver Rings of honesty? More like leadership camp from hell!

We find Jason in the fellowship of the sun camp surrounded by a bunch of crazy people who, guess what – adore him, especially after a really disturbing scene. I hate vampire sympathizers! Oh wait, my sister is one! She just lovesss vampires! Umm, awkward!

Jason showed us a really crazy side of himself.  And what the hell is wrong with this Luke guy? He’s so jealous of Jason that it’s obviously going to bring him trouble. Also, you can cut the sexual tension in this camp with a knife. Camp from hell will most likely turn into sex camp soon!

What does Maryann want? Really we are dying to know!

And why is she so hungry all the time?! Wow, can she eat! She visited Merlottes in this episode and she seems to have ordered everything on the menu. All that comes to mind is “weird Maryann, really weird”. She does this real hot dance that turns Merlottes into lust central. Everybody dancing – even Andy, who dances “like an epileptic on meths” (his words not mine). People almost having sex on the tables. The world’s gone mad!

Another thing; Sookie invited Tara to move in after Tara told her she had doubts about staying with Maryann (duhh! It is too good to be true; normal people just don’t invite you into their home and treat you like you are a goddess). And then Sookie told Maryann about that. I’m sure that the fact she has done this is going to come back and bite her in the ass.

Lafayette: “Make me a vampire…

Eric: “I beg your pardon?

To finish the whole Eric – Lafayette thing in this the second episode. After dealing with a guys innards (you’ll know what I mean if you saw either the first or this episode) Lafayette escapes and runs into Belinda who shoots him in the leg. All that Eric has to say to him after that is: “Will you like the bleeding to kill you or shall we kill you?

To that Lafayette asks to be turned into a vampire, claiming he will be Eric’s “bad ass vampire” (we are indeed sure he will be). And again surprise, surprise – they begin to feed on Lafayette, but what we are all dying to know is will he be turned?

So in all true Alan Ball style, he leaves us with lots of questions, lots of shock, and crazy to see next weeks’ episode (especially after seeing how hot the previews are)!!

I hate having to wait so-o-o-o long in between seasons.

The suspense is killing me. I love the portrayal of the basic vampire qualities with the newer traits being added.

I have read the books and feel the series keeps the characters on line and true.

Hears to many more seasons…I can’t get enough.
